Program Overview
Many players on MLR training squads do not get enough playing time to develop their skills. Without consistent, high-level game experience, their ability to process information quickly and react under pressure declines. This hinders their growth and, ultimately, the level of rugby in the U.S.
We provide MLR developmental players with the opportunity to play in Argentina’s highly competitive amateur league while receiving professional-level training and support. This experience ensures that players return to the U.S. sharper, stronger, and more prepared for the next season.
What’s Included
A Offseason porgram where players will have team training and specific skills sessions and weekly high level games, in Argentinas high level amateur league.

What inspired this program?
As an active MLR player, I’ve experienced firsthand the challenges of getting consistent game time and the impact it has on player development. We truly believe this program can benefit MLR teams and their players by providing a structured, high-level off-season experience in Argentina.
Our role in this initiative is to facilitate connections between MLR teams and top Argentine clubs, ensuring players have access to a competitive environment that will help them return to MLR sharper, more experienced, and better prepared. This program is open to all teams, and our goal is to create an opportunity that benefits the league as a whole.
